What is the role of a Seasonal Rental Agent?

CIS IMMOBILIER exclusively ensures, as the MANDATAIRE (legal representative) of the owner the simple mission to rent out the property seasonally, this includes :

find clients and create contracts with individuals or agents (to include Private Business Commitees, Travel Agents, Tourist offices).

manage the property as as agreed in writing by the owner

bank all financial transactions including the deposit

carry out (if required) any maintenance works that are required to maintain the property to a standard required by our clientele.

How long are you tied in to a contract with the agency?

Each owner that signs over a property to the agency is under contract for a duration of 12 months starting from the date the contract is signed.
Is is renewed automatically.

When are any rental earnings paid?

Any monies owing to the owner by the agent, from the rental of the propert will be paid at the end of the season.

In the instance where CIS IMMOBILIER is the managing agent for your residence, you have the possibility to transfer any rental revenues directly into your co-owner account.

How is your property maintained ?

Due to our prepaid "maintenance/cleaning" package, CIS IMMOBILIER guarantees the everyday maintenance of the property as well as a final end of season clean (sproviding that the owner does not occupy the apartmebnt for more than six weeks during the season).

The package includes:

replacing any small items (light bulb, fuses)

routine repairs

end of season clean

cleaning all bedding

"dust" removal at begginning of season

cleaning carpets and flooring at the end of season

How CIS IMMOBILIER is paid?

The agence, bound by professional regulations, has the right to a fixed sum for the administration of a property.

This fee is entirely due by the owner and will be deducted from any rentals taken.

The fee is 23,20 % and can vary depending on whether or not the property is rentad via an intermmediary such as a central reservations office Tourist Information Office or Travel Agent.
